Dear Parent,
If you believe your child might be gifted, then we
encourage you to look closely at ECAP (Early Childhood
Accelerated Program) Academy. It is one of a very few
preschools for gifted children in the United States and
the only gifted preschool in Kansas.
Gifted children have amazing minds and an undaunted
curiosity. When a gifted child, who can learn at an
accelerated rate, sits in a regular classroom, boredom
and even behavioral problems often result. Teachers,
parents and other children often do not relate to a gifted
child. Gifted children ask difficult questions, process
information differently and sometimes frustrate the
